It was very clean and well-decorated. Nicely situated in a neighbourhood just slightly north of the centre of Kyoto. We loved our stay there, our three person room was quite large.

There isnt much of a "lobby" but there is a common area upstairs for working and using kitchen supplies. The front desk also held our luggage before checkin which was helpful.

Great neighborhood close to Nishiki Market and Teramachi. Walking distance to Ginza. Stayed four people in loft room. Best room of our Japan trip: plenty of space, nice comfortable beds and cool design.

Breakfast options are very limited. We opted to eat breakfast at a nearby coffee shop instead, but if you don’t have picky children like us, it’s probably just fine.
