Bathroom was nasty. Not in the best part of LA. Should have done my research before booking. And if you need to open a bottle. Bottle opener is in the bathroom on the wall.
Location of hotel is perfect to explore Hollywood Boulevard area and Griffith Observatory. It was a 5 min walk to metro station at Santa Monica Blvd and more bus route options. There was a bus stop right outside the hotel that did a loop route taking in Hollywood and towards restaurants and shops along Sunset. It was so easy to use public transport that we even took the metro back to Union Station when we left LA. The pool area was nice and good pool temperature. Staff on reception were friendly and helpful.

We got bitten a lot around the pool area until we bought some insect repellent. The room was clean but was a bit tired and in need of refurbishing.

Cleaning service, on the first day if not prompted they would not have cleaned the room. Very noisy rooms due to air conditioner motors. Having taken two rooms, I expected them to be adjacent, but instead, we had a room that shared the terrace with others.
