Generally reported as good — multiple reviews mention clean rooms and bathrooms; no widespread complaints about hygiene.
Very positive across reviews — staff repeatedly described as friendly, helpful and attentive (pool attendant, reception, upgrade assistance, etc.).
Frequently praised — several guests highlight central, convenient location for sightseeing and good neighborhood positioning.
Mixed feedback — many praise spacious, attractive rooms and comfortable beds, but others note issues (futon/low beds, narrow/slippery passages, holes causing noise/mosquitoes, need for refurbishment).
Mixed — spa/massage and pool are positive draws and Wi‑Fi works for many, but the pool area and some facilities were noted as in need of refurbishment and wifi was described as mediocre by some.
Generally seen as good value — comments on reasonable price-quality ratio and satisfaction with what’s offered relative to cost.
Weakest area — multiple guests criticize the breakfast (limited choice, stale pastries, not a hotel strength), though a few enjoyed the Thai options.
Overall positive stay for most guests — excellent staff, good location and comfortable rooms offsetting some shortcomings in breakfast and certain facility upkeep.

Watch out for your prices when asked to extend your stay ... a shame because we would have liked to stay 4 more days but the prices were too high ...

The breakfast leaves much to be desired compared to the rest of the hotel. We found it to be a very, very poor breakfast and well below the level we expected considering the overall quality of the accommodation. On the other hand, unfortunately, the stay was tarnished by a detail that I consider important to mention. The hotel initially charged us 2,000 THB for the pillows and their covers due to hair dye stains. After discussing it with them and complaining, the amount was finally reduced to 1,000 THB. I understand perfectly that the hotel can charge for damages or stains that cannot be removed, and I'm not saying that I disagree. What I consider not very appropriate is not informing the guest from the first moment that an accidental hair dye stain on a pillow would result in a charge and, furthermore, that the used pillows during the stay would be charged. If they had informed us on the first day, we would have simply been much more careful or would have always used the same pillow to avoid generating an unnecessary expense. However, we were informed of all this on the last day, when there was no longer any possibility of acting differently. It's not so much about the 1,000 THB —which we finally paid and understand from their point of view— but about the lack of prior information and the way it was handled, something that completely tarnished a stay that, otherwise, had been good.
