Very central location, not too far from a subway stop

The property was quite dated, which is fine but it was also unclean. We booked last minute due to a cancelled flight. The room we stayed in felt like it hadn’t been stayed in/ cleaned for years. There were crumbs on the floor, hairs and other stains in the showers. The towels, bedding and whole room didn’t smell clean at all. The tv was very old as was the ac unit which didn’t do a great job at cooling the room down and was so loud that we couldn’t keep it on at night. The windows couldn’t be opened either so we couldn’t get fresh air. Housekeeping isn’t automatic and must be requested the day before. Due to our late check in, this wasn’t possible for us so we had to put up with the uncleanliness. As it was a last minute booking, we paid just over £2000 for 2 nights, which is extortionate, but I gather that it is cheaper when booking in advance. To top it all off, we had to pay 12 dollars to store 4 small bags for 1 hour after check out! If you don’t mind staying somewhere that is basic and unhygienic then this could work but if not, there are much better hotels out there for a similar price that would allow a much more comfortable stay
