shower a bit weak, windows a bit leaky - but neither were dramatic
Despite the serious initial flaws, the rest of our two-week stay actually went very well and we had a good time. The hotel's La Fontana restaurant was highly enjoyable with a great variety of excellent food options. While most of the hotel staff simply did their jobs without much warmth, a restaurant waiter named Miguel Angel was an absolute exception. He was incredibly friendly, smiling, and always ready to joke—a true gem who made our dining experiences much better. We also appreciated that the hotel management offered us a room upgrade and free breakfast as compensation for the initial disruptions.

Our stay had major operational and service failures. We did not get our requested connecting family rooms, and the alternative room had a connecting door leading to a neighbor's room with terrible sound isolation. Housekeeping also accidentally swapped our room keys with the neighbor's, creating a serious security issue. On our second day, a total 24-hour blackout left us with no power or hot water, and the staff completely failed to communicate. Afterward, the kids' room AC was not working, and maintenance ridiculously fixed it by locking the thermostat at 7.5°C and then 10°C. Furthermore, the parking staff were very unfriendly; they rudely tried to force me away during a traffic backup and later impolitely forced me to stand and wait next to the car for 30 minutes for a rental representative on a meal break. Because of these significant issues, I would not come back nor recommend this hotel.

Everything, the service was terrible, they do not think about the customer experience, only about billing, they blocked my door as if I were a thief, they charged me for everything to the point of reaching my room… the staff was lost, in the end a special date with mom and daughter ended up being the worst experience, I will not return to this hotel
excellent location, the breakfast is by far one of the best I have received in the entire city of Mexico
