The WiFi was not working. The rooms were noisy.

The hotel is located downtown, in a calm, clean, and cozy neighborhood. There is an Alberthaim supermarket, bakery, and a green park with a lake within walking distance.

There were some changes in the reservation with the room initially chosen. It was accidentally changed to a basement room underground with limited daylight. We noticed that booking.com offered a discount on the initial price, but it did not meet my expectations. The very kind and caring hostess did everything possible to make us feel good and satisfied. Thanks to her, we did not complain and stayed for the entire reservation period. However, be cautious of any changes in the reservation. If the pictures disappear from your reservation, there is a risk that the room you initially chose based on the pictures will be changed to a room underground with no direct daylight.

The room we were assigned was on the ground floor at the front of the building. The noise from reception and the entrance was unbearable, as well as the smell of smokers outside at all hours of the day, seeping into the room even with the windows closed.

The hotel is perfectly located to explore Amsterdam. The room is comfortable and well-appointed. The breakfast is excellent and worth the price. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

The location is perfect with night buses to the airport starting just after 5 am. The hotel could perhaps provide ready-made timetables as it was a bit confusing due to the different public transport providers. We ended up taking an Uber, which was also fine.
