It's my third time in Rio, and I made the bad decision to change hotels, thinking that by paying more, it would be better, and I was wrong. Here are some reasons. The hotel is under renovation, and the noise is unbearable ALL day long. While it may be a coincidence, it is serious that the hotel does not inform or allow canceling the stay because practically it was impossible to stay in the room. I contacted Booking from the very beginning, a platform that NEVER responded. But that was not all. The hotel has serious problems, no noise insulation, and you can hear even the bathroom from the upper floor, as well as the elevator noises. The gym and sauna were closed. It only had one elevator working for a large hotel, causing crowds. The bathroom did not have an air extractor or hairdryer. Something that I found funny, the king bed had single bed covers, I don't know if it is used in other hotels, but sleeping with my partner, we ended up with a piece of fabric on each. Because of the noise issue, we could not be in the room from 8 in the morning to 6 in the afternoon. After many complaints, the hotel offered me a 20 percent discount, about 680 reais, something totally absurd considering the overall bad experience of the stay. Finally, I arrived in my country, and that discount appeared as a charge on my bank account. I recommend looking for other hotels in Copacabana that are simpler, better located (closer to Leblon and good restaurants), and more economical, but what is more relevant, with an honest and efficient customer service policy.

The shower box does not have a safety handle, making the shower risky! The box has a half-blindex door, which floods the bathroom.

Another very positive point is the gym on the top floor, with a unique and surreal view. The breakfast is very complete and tasty, served in the same restaurant area. Another positive point, which will certainly make us return, is the convenience of the beach service, with chairs and security. The staff helps with beach information and with the kiosk to get drinks and food.
