Spacious room. Nice hotel. Pool not too cold. Aperitif at 5 pm, in the elegant mezzanine. Varied breakfast. Well located. From the room, a nice view of an old building. Quiet and very clean. Count 1 hour 30 minutes from the airport by metro.

Unsupervised pool, so noisy, children playing ball. Few snacks at the aperitif. We had a total water outage for one evening and one night: not even a bottle of water. The hotel deducts tourist fees from the deposit without notice.
There was an evening reception, which was enjoyable. Also, the breakfast was delicious and felt like a good deal. The location was very convenient and helpful for sightseeing.

This hotel is my favorite when visiting Chicago. Always clean and the staff is super nice, welcoming, and accommodating to requests. The hotel is right in the middle of everything and close to the subway system. Felt safe during my stays.

Prices heavily fluctuate depending on demand. Had a big jump in cost for a popular concert date vs. regular times, even when the reservation was made 8 months in advance. They should also extend breakfast hours, as it ends too early even if it is included in the reservation.

Safe and phone were working properly. Safe was fixed when I requested. As I had to plug lamps and phone in as all unplugged, when I moved the locker out to get at the sockets it was very dirty behind the lockers.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and there were lots of towels available. It is a great location.

The pillows were small and hard, the sink in my room drained very slowly.
