Lovely hotel if you want quiet. We stayed in a tower room which is small of course because it is in the tower, but lovely with a view of the sea.

This is a magical place. The staff and owner made us feel like family. Every detail is perfection from the design of the rooms, to the public spaces which are inviting. The park-like grounds are stunning with many little seating areas to escape to. The daily breakfast is delicious and dinner in the restaurant is first rate. It is a quiet, peaceful place and just a 10-minute walk to the beach. We would highly recommend this wonderful hotel and would stay again if we can make it back to Punta del Este.

We usually stay in the classic rooms in the tower. This time we were placed in one in the garden, with no privacy at all. We requested a change, and despite the delay and a bit of resistance, it was done. The restaurant service was not up to the normal quality standard, very slow service, lack of attention from the waitresses. But the hotel is beautiful, well located, and we will continue to stay there, despite the minor inconveniences during this stay.
