It could be more eco-friendly and, for an 'Art Hotel,' rooms are unimaginative and quite bland. Could do with themes, perhaps, to jazz it up a tad. Bar should have more of an ambiance and mood lighting. Rooftop terrace could do with a pop-up bar, chill-out music & vibes.
No total darkness in the room, no shutters and sensor lights... you can hear a bit of noise from the corridor but the hotel is fortunately very quiet.
Very quiet place, despite the canals, bustling with nightlife nearby. Very elegant breakfast room. The breakfasts themselves are plentiful (not Italian). The minibar is stocked. There is coffee, snowballs, water, individual care products. A buffet is served in the lobby all day. The staff is absolutely friendly. Metro is 5 minutes away. Checked in earlier at no extra charge.
