Only the location. The decent price that made me choose the hostel is justified by the facilities and services it provides.

Totally unpleasant experience. I traveled with my 18-year-old daughter through several countries in Europe. We had booked 3 nights with payment upon arrival (according to the Booking contract). I wrote to the owner about 4-5 times asking him to wait for us or leave us a way to access the property, as we had a ferry from Helsinki arriving in Tallinn at 11 PM. Check-in was only until 10 PM. We couldn't swim from Helsinki, as the reservations were made well in advance. HE DID NOT WANT TO UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. He even tried to make me cancel the reservation and make another one (with a 50% higher price, and if I canceled, I would lose all the money from the first reservation, according to the Booking contract). I explained and asked him that even if no one was there, I would pay the next morning as soon as we woke up. He still didn't want to. We arrived at the location at 11:30 PM, I sent him a picture that we were in front of the location, a picture he saw, but he didn't want to help us. Tallinn is not a big city, he could have come or sent someone to the location to take the money if he didn't trust that we would pay the next day. THIS IS NOT HOW TOURISM SHOULD BE DONE. I have traveled to over 50 countries on all continents but have never experienced anything like this. WE SPENT A FEW HOURS AT NIGHT ON THE STREET WITH MY 18-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER, AFTER WHICH, WITH THE PERMISSION OF A TENANT FROM THE PROPERTY, WE ENTERED AND STAYED IN THE RECEPTION ARMCHAIR FOR A FEW HOURS UNTIL 9 AM WHEN THE STAFF ARRIVED. I WANT TO ASK HIM: 1. Have you ever traveled?? 2. Do you have children?? 3. What kind of tourists do you have?? I don't need answers. SHAME! As for the hostel, it is old, the carpet is dirty, it smells of unwashed feet. There are many problems with the furniture. We asked to make coffee, but it's not possible. To wash your hands, take a shower, and use the toilet, you have to go to three different places. Yes, three different bathrooms. The shower is in the right half of the hotel, the sink in another bathroom, and the toilets in another different room. I have been to hostels before but have never encountered anything like this.

The room was clean. The beddings were clean. The possibility to cook for yourself if needed.

It was warm and nice. Hot water in the shower. For such a price, it's a very good option. Very good location. Near the center, park, waterfront, and shops. There is paid parking, which is better to reserve in advance (5 euros per day), which is very convenient. The staff is friendly. There is a mini kitchen.

The location is superb, but it can be noisy in the evening as the road is nearby.

Great value for the location, 15 minutes to the port and the old town, good communication with the staff, rooms are fine, for this price, there is nothing to complain about the shared bathrooms, which were also relatively clean.
