There was no complimentary water.

The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and there was a desk in the room, something I appreciate. Also a kettle to heat water, another thing that matters to me. The beds must be thicker in winter, but I don't know what the weather is like there in winter. It was possible to open the window - a big plus, the elevators worked well, and access to a washing machine and dryer is available, another big plus when traveling for many days. The location is excellent, in the city center, the staff is lovely, especially a young man at the reception who was always cheerful and helpful. Latvia has a rich knitting tradition, and it was fun to see all the beautiful mittens and visit numerous yarn stores (not to mention the craft market).

Possibly clean the bottom of the self-service coffee machine in the dining room - probably accidental. Would have liked to see more local bread or simply local products on the breakfast table, but otherwise, the breakfast was very nice.

Received an upgrade. Room 611 has a superb view of the sights. Underfloor heating in the bathroom. Large comfortable bed.

The hotel is very old, needs renovation, the igloo experience is impractical.
