I've stayed at the ibis in southbank before, and it's always exceptional. You have a lovely team, 24 hour desk service is very helpful and the rooms and location are always wonderful, not to mention the great value. I'll always stay with ibis southbank on every future trip to Melbourne. I'd also love to give a big shout out to Maeve, who got us checked in ahead of schedule because we arrived much earlier than we had previously planned. The extra few hours to nap really helped us out with being well-rested for our trip. Also, the beds are very comfortable and the range of hard and soft pillows is incredible. I used to be a mattress salesman, and I have to mention how far the right pillow goes towards getting a good night's rest. Most people are very particular with their pillows, so the range in pillow strength is very much appreciated.

I've not really got anything to say here. If I had to be critical the only thing I could mention is that the shower head is a little forceful, but like, that's way better than the alternative.
Great location, fast elevator, modern design, very comfortable bed, room layout was good and well arranged, shampoo and soap smelled nice.

We stayed for 8 nights. The coffee pods weren't replenished consistently everyday, the carpet floor wasn't vacuumed daily
