The location was very central and only a few blocks from the trams. There are cafes nearby and a little supermarket 1 1/2 blocks away. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and had a couple of minor issues fixed quickly. The bar was good at night with some great cocktails.

The hotel says it has soundproofing, and from the outside to the inside, it’s very good. However, from room to room is non-existent. The bed in the room on one side made a noise everytime someone moved, and I could hear it moving. I heard arguments, phone calls, conversations and people having sex. On the other side of things, I snore, so there was often someone knocking on the wall to wake me up. They shouldn’t have to listen to me and I shouldn’t have to listen to them.

Our bathroom had black mold growing on all of the grout in the shower. We also noticed that the bathroom and room wasn’t being vacuumed every day.

The room faced a courtyard and the air con unit was right outside the window which was noisy. The extractor fan in the toilet could not be switched off. There was no sink in the toilet. The shower room was good and the beds comfortable. Details on Booking.com indicated bath robes but none were available.
