I didn't know the Social Hub structure, but when I planned my trip to Berlin, it struck me for the design and for a series of shared spaces with ping pong, foosball, armchairs in the lounges with sockets to charge smartphones and computers under each seat. Very young, friendly, kind, and very empathetic people work there. A functional place, right in the center, served by bus 300 and the metro. Close to supermarkets and shopping centers (Alexa). A stone's throw from Alexander Platz. Quiet, comfortable rooms, exceptional beds, and a bathroom with quality products. The playlist with high-quality music impressed me, I say this as an insider. Excellent quality breakfast for all tastes and the possibility to have lunch/dinner 24 hours, I really enjoyed the lime and spinach risotto. Nico at the reception welcomed us trying to understand our needs and was truly invaluable. Cappuccino is served at the bar with an authentic Tuscan cantuccino, it was a much-appreciated surprise. Sofia, Nicole, and Diana were very kind. There is also a gym and a very convenient outdoor space. The guy who takes care of cleaning the common areas in the morning deserves special praise, great commitment. I 100% recommend staying here also for the excellent value for money and for the energy and joy it manages to convey.

On two separate nights, I found myself locked out of the hotel after returning late because the automatic entrance door would not open. I had to wait for another guest to arrive and let me in, as my access card did not work and no one responded through the intercom. Despite reporting this issue several times, I never received a proper solution. The staff only attempted to fix it on the night before my departure, which was particularly frustrating, as it was already too late to make any meaningful difference to my stay. During my six-night stay, my room was serviced only once, and even then, the floor was not swept. The replacement towels provided on that occasion were also quite small. The bathroom trash bin was not working properly, and the desk lamp was missing a light bulb. Neither issue was addressed throughout my entire stay, despite being reported. I had also requested a room on a higher floor, but this request was not accommodated. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The hotel charges a relatively high price, yet the level of service, maintenance, and attention to guests falls well short of what I would expect. Having to wait outside late at night, with no assistance available, was particularly unacceptable. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
