Breakfast was phenomenal.
Everything about the hotel was first class.
One of the best breakfasts we have enjoyed. We were upgraded to a superior room due to the intense smoke smell in ours.

Concierge was phenomenal in helping us find the best local restaurant recommendations - super helpful. The breakfast staff were smiling and pleasant. The grandeur of the interior design. The room was spacious and airy. Fluffy high-quality slippers - a rare find! His and Hers sinks in the bathroom - classic and beautifully designed bathroom. Separate dressing room.

This is hands down the one hotel I’ll never go back to, and I’ll definitely tell everyone to skip it. I picked it because of the high 9.5 rating, but the service was a solid 5/10 at best. Honestly, it felt like they were trying to rip me off at every single step, from check-in to calling a car. I asked for early check-in, but when I arrived, they told me there were no rooms available. Meanwhile, other guests checking in right next to me got into their rooms with zero issues because they also asked for early check-in. But whatever, fine. What really annoyed me was that they pushed an 'upgrade' on me just so I could check in right away. Turns out there were actually cheaper standard rooms available, but I ended up paying an extra $200. On top of that, they kept trying to convince me to stay in that room for the rest of my trip—which would’ve cost me another $1,000! Later, I asked the concierge about visiting the Great Wall. He insisted I had to use their 'super comfortable' hotel car with a 'pro driver,' claiming it would be impossible to catch a ride back on my own. I agreed, but specifically asked for a phone charger in the car. What showed up was a super old, uncomfortable car with no charger at all. I had the driver turn right around and canceled. I paid a small fee, called a regular taxi instead, and saved half the money—while getting a much bigger and way better car! It’s just such a gross feeling when a place tries to fool you at every turn. This isn’t a high-end hotel; it’s a place that treats guests like idiots who will fall for anything.
Absolutely everything, the hotel is truly amazing. The breakfast team, I must say, were exceptional.

A long walk between the pool and gym to the Spa area. Also no jacuzzi!
