We atayed here twice - before & after our river cruise. The location was perfect. The hotel was beautiful - tapestries, paintings & chandeliers. The staff who took our luggage & helped us with translating instructions given in German were excellent.

The front desk were okay but not as friendly as the staff. One of them even questioned our presence in the hotel. We thought it surprising that there was no tea/ coffee provided in the room - maybe it's an Austrian (or European) practice?

Hotel is absolutely fantastic if you want to discover Vienna:) very quiet, large room (standard room), comfortable bed! Hotel team was always friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable and would book the hotel again at any time!!!

The help in breakfast area was understaffed. Food ran out by 9:30 and breakfast wasn’t over until 10:30.

The hotel staff seemed a little distracted - nothing terrible but we felt like we were intruding if we asked for anything.

Very good location right in the center. Large rooms with high ceilings which create a good feeling. Comfortable beds, pleasant bathroom (has a window so it ventilates quickly). Very good cleanliness. Underground parking with exit right in front of the hotel.

Unfortunately, the rooms have connecting doors which reduces sound isolation. We had neighbors with young children who started screaming at 8 in the morning and not just for a few minutes but about 30-40 minutes. It would be perfect if you couldn't hear the sounds from the next room. Of course, this will not stop me from returning. I have stayed at this hotel many times in the last 10 years and I still like it very much.
