Built at the site of the original railroad depot where the pioneers disembarked to settle what would become Las Vegas in 1905, the Plaza Hotel & Casino has been a part of Las Vegas history since it opened as the world's largest hotel/casino in 1971. The bathtub still had hair and fur in it. The faucet was about to fall off. The smell of the gutter. The smell of bleach when running water. The mix of perfume and cold tobacco. The TV screen full of greasy fingerprints

Staff is super nice and beds are so comfy. Housekeeping could pay more attention to cleaning. The sink was dirty and trash cans were sticky. While walking on the floor, a fake eyelash got stuck to my foot. Behind the dresser, there were trash and chip bags. We brought our own bedding and towels. I also wish they wouldn't allow smoking, as it's hard to eat at the restaurant when it smells like cigarettes
