The only small point of criticism: Smoking only allowed in front of the hotel (street), not on the balcony (which is fine). A small designated area in the courtyard or on the rooftop would be more pleasant nonetheless.

The beautiful rooftop pool, terrace, and cocktails bar are an awesome bonus to this excellent hotel. The breakfast is delicious and varied, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Public spaces are beautifully designed, the room is quiet and comfortable (although slightly dark, but this could be due to the fact that it was facing an inner yard). Located within 15 min walking to major attractions and within 5 min walking to public transport options.

1. The rooftop pool. Given the 36-degree heat during our stay, it was simply a lifesaver. 2. Delicious, varied breakfast. 3. Very positive, sociable, and responsive staff. They accommodated us and changed our room. 4. Everything is new and clean

1. The street-view room was very noisy at night, it was impossible to sleep with the window open. The courtyard-view room was much better. 2. The advertised unlimited tea/coffee/croissants throughout the day were no longer available. 3. A bit far from most major attractions. 4. Non-standard room layout, transparent walls for the toilet/shower
