loved the staff in the bar, so welcoming and great at connecting guests. Don and Desmond are fantastic barmen. The restaurant wait staff were lovely. Food was good. I will definitely go back.

air con in the restaurant / bar area was too cold. The staff told us they'd asked for it to be reduced but it was turned back up full again. I would have spent more time and money in there if it had been less freezing.
the elevator and air condition was too strong
Good location in Back Bay, especially for Northeastern if you have a student there. Room was large and clean. Staff was very helpful with parking our large car in the garage when we had trouble. Probably the best hotel gym we have seen. Close to eateries; bakery across the street for a quick breakfast.

Nightly price a little too high but maybe consistent with the area.
