From the same TRAVELER group, they contacted me particularly on my WhatsApp offering to change the upgrade from a shared room to a private one for a certain amount of money, which at the time of accepting they wanted to charge me 50% more for some taxes that were never informed. An employee named Sol was the one who tried to manipulate me, but thanks to Dai, a very nice Argentine who also works at the hostel, I did not fall for the deception and she was very loving in explaining all the procedures within Miami and what are the best tips.

Some of the staff really made the experience sink. An older lady with short hair in reception always looked like she was in a bad mood and whenever we needed something she seemed really bothered. Plus the cafe lady was not welcoming at all, most of the time they were out of items (we were there for 6 nights and they never had fruit salad) on the last day I couldn’t even get my bagel toasted because she had already turned off the oven even though the cafe was still open for another hour.
I had a beautiful experience at Viajero Miami, especially traveling alone. Beyond the place, what really made the difference was the people who work there. Dai is divine, always with a smile, super willing to help, attentive to what you need and looking for ways to solve everything. That kind of person who makes you feel accompanied and cared for when you are far from home. Thank you Dai for so much warmth! ❤️ And Flor has something special to integrate people. She makes sure that no one is left out, brings you closer to the group, encourages you to participate in activities, and creates an environment where, even if you arrive alone, you immediately feel like you belong. That for those of us who travel alone is very valuable. Obviously, I cannot leave out the impeccable Juan: authentic, charismatic, helpful, always willing to help and with a beautiful energy that makes everything easier and more fun. Those genuine people who add up and make the experience even more special. I take with me not only a very good experience from the hostel but also moments and people who made my time in Miami much nicer. Thank you Dai, Flor, and Juan for making me feel so welcome and accompanied. I would definitely come back. 🌴❤️
