We really liked the rooms provided for our family stay; we had adjoining rooms with a connecting door, which was very convenient. We also really appreciated the hotel's location, with many cafes, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. I would like to highlight the staff: my son lost his headphones in a taxi, but the staff contacted the driver and resolved the issue, ensuring the headphones were returned to us that same evening. The staff were very attentive and responded quickly to our requests. The hotel is beautiful and luxurious. We recommend staying here.

When we checked in at night, we discovered we had to pay a 4,000-yuan deposit. We hadn't been warned about this, and the information wasn't on Booking.com either. My husband happened to notice that the amount shown on the payment terminal was different: it displayed 15,000 yuan instead of 11,000. When we asked about it, the staff explained that the difference was the deposit, though they couldn't explain why it was 4,000 yuan. Eventually, the male staff member left, and a female staff member told us that if we didn't want to, we didn't have to leave a deposit; instead, we could simply pay for hotel services as we used them—an arrangement that suited us fine. However, the requirement to pay a deposit should be stated on the website, as 4,000 yuan is a significant amount for foreign nationals. Even though the money is refundable, what is a guest supposed to do with it after checking out if they are flying home? We had planned to spend that money during our stay in Beijing. That was a downside.

The hotel is large with developed infrastructure. There is a small shopping center with a large children's playroom and several restaurants. It takes about 25 minutes by taxi to get to the Forbidden City. There are small local shops and a 7eleven nearby.
