For a week-plus trip to Cairns, we needed a fully equipped apartment with a kitchen, washer/dryer, bathtub, and parking. Mantra Esplanade was the perfect choice. Located right in the heart of central Cairns, it put us within easy reach of the Reef Terminal for tours and made heading out on day trips effortless. It was a short walk to Woolworths for groceries whenever we preferred to cook, as well as to countless local restaurants and cafes. The friendly staff went above and beyond, quickly providing extra laundry powder, dish detergent, towels, and amenities whenever requested. Highly recommended!

On the downside, the Wi-Fi was quite weak, making it difficult to send photos and videos via our apps. Additionally, room servicing is minimal—per hotel policy, housekeeping was only provided once during our 8-night stay. This didn't bother us, but it's good to know in advance. Lastly, while the property and facilities are somewhat dated, everything was well-maintained and didn't impact our overall positive experience.
