It was expensive rate per night for single traveller.

We had to switch rooms due to noise, but the staff member who helped us was very friendly and extremely helpful. The staff member who greeted us at arrival and checked us out could have used the example and assistance of a more senior colleague. They gave quite an unfriendly impression to us (it's the first time I felt like I was inconveniencing a hotel by showing up), and rude to other guests. I understand that they might have been overwhelmed by the busy high-season, but considering the prices this hotel charges the very least one could expect is a friendly tone from the staff.
