2nd time staying here. Great family option. Best beach in Waikiki and great to explore. Walkable to ala Moana and whole foods as well.

Do NOT go for the grand vacation deal! While staying at another Hilton, we passed a stand offering a Hawaii vacation bundle as one of the options and thought it’d a time saver and save us the stress with a bonus of 75,000 points. However when we got there, all the conversations about rooms seemed to have been forgotten. We’re a family of 4 and when we get to our room, we enter to see 2 twin doubles. Before that we request Rainbow Tower, the higher end hotel and instead got sent to their lowest quality lodge, worse than the one we were at when we applied for it! This is our 3rd time and the Lotus right down the street is miles better as well as not being 80, (EIGHTY) dollars a night for valley and SIXTY for self park! The place is overly crowded as well and goodluck finding a spot on the beach or in the small pool they have. We will NEVER be coming back here. Now as I write this we have to go to a time share presentation your REQUIRED to even do for the deal. If you want to really enjoy Hawaii avoid this place like the plague!

The HHV area is nice, but it is very busy. Pools crowded and has very expensive parking @$68/night. Lots pf traffic around the city as well so plan your time widely. It was a good home base to explore all of Oahu, but next time, I would stay in a different part of the island for the real Hawaiian experience.
