A localização é excelente, próxima às praias de Copacabana e Ipanema. O hotel é bem localizado e oferece fácil acesso a restaurantes e comércio.

Bij aankomst checkten we in. Degene die ons hielp was erg nors en onvriendelijk. Hij zei alles heel snel en we konden het maar net volgen. Daarnaast vroegen we hem om advies, omdat we die avond naar een voetbalwedstrijd zouden gaan. De vraag was of we het beste met de Uber konden gaan of met het openbaar vervoer. We werden direct verwezen naar een andere voetbalwedstrijd… terwijl we gewoon al kaartjes hadden voor de wedstrijd waar we naartoe zijn gegaan en hij verwees ons direct naar de taxi van het hotel. Dit zou beter zijn omdat we de chauffeurs van de Uber niet kennen… en omdat het regende die dag. Dus totaal geen antwoord op onze vraag. We zijn met de Uber gegaan en hadden een geweldige ervaring! De chauffeurs waren ontzettend aardig en spraken heel fijn met ons. Bij het personeel van het hotel kon er geen lach vanaf. Iedere keer bij binnenkomst zeiden ze niets en keken ze ons niet aan. Dit voelde totaal niet hartelijk. Het leek alsof ze een hekel aan hun baan hebben. Je kunt ook een andere baan kiezen. We hadden het kaartje ‘niet storen’ op onze deur gezet omdat we ons aan het klaarmaken waren voor de dag. Ineens stond er iemand in onze kamer. Dat voelde heel ongemakkelijk. Daarnaast ging de airco niet uit, terwijl het niet zo lekker weer was en het raam gewoon open kon.
