Room cleaning/balcony cleaning is not done. Disappointing experience regarding the room. Despite booking a room with a view and my advance request on Booking for a quiet, south-facing and sunny room, I got the opposite: a very sunny room, facing a noisy equipment, with particularly noisy ventilation in the bathroom. Unfortunately, no solution could be found. Check-in was also very long. In case of complaint after seeing the room, you practically have to go through the whole process again and wait again, as all the agents are already busy. Several customers also seemed to be facing the same situation. During each of my stays in Marrakech, I always want to return to Mövenpick, especially for the comfort of the establishment and for the exceptional quality of the welcome and support, worthy of a palace. This experience, very different from the previous ones, truly disappointed me. Regarding the reception area, the old entrance was, in my opinion, one of the real assets of Mövenpick: it was spectacular, especially with its large sliding door that opened onto the hotel. So I found it a pity that the reception was moved to a more ordinary space, which offers a less striking arrival and loses some of the charm of the experience.

The cleanliness of the showers, smell of backflows, the fact that the adult pool allows children anyway, we also saw cockroaches and so it's not what I expect when I take a 5-star hotel
