* Cold and rather condescending welcome at check-in. * Very limited evening services for a 4-star hotel: no lobby bar or room service after 7 PM. * No heating in the room; the air conditioning only cools, and the only solution offered was an extra blanket. * Construction work around the hotel can be noisy — earplugs are actually provided in the room. * Mosquitoes in the room despite being on a high floor. * Poor digital experience: the WhatsApp chatbot is not very helpful and the QR code lacks useful information. * We were unable to access the menu of the restaurant suggested as an alternative to room service, even after two days. * Overall, the service and attention to detail did not match what I would expect from a 4-star hotel.

The location is ideal as it is on Copacabana, but not far from Ipanema, for a first time in Rio it's great. (+ the rooftop which has a breathtaking view of Copacabana) The rooms are very clean, bathroom and bedding very comfortable! (Having stayed in several hotels in Rio and Brazil during our trip, it was probably the cleanest and least humid rooms!)

Not having chosen a sea view or city view so it overlooked a kind of courtyard and it was really very dark, but it's a detail, everything was perfect!
