Just wanted to share..We just returned from our stay at your hotel. I went to the lobby one evening to ask where I could purchase a cup of hot tea (not realizing there was tea as well as coffee in my room.) I spoke to Justin. He could have simply handed me a tea bag & told me to make it in my room. Instead, he filled a kettle & heated it for me right there. While we waited we had the nicest chat. He asked where I was from, what I did, etc. He was such a kind, friendly young man. It may seem like a small thing, but it was refreshing to have such genuine thoughtfulness. I really appreciated the gesture. He is an asset to your hotel!

Thank you for making our stay special. We appreciate that you recognize repeat visitors- our 9th year! And we always bring friends or family! The property looks so nice, we love pool music & ocean views! It’s nice you have the little lobby shop too! Staff kind and friendly. Great breakfast at Southernmost cafe. Thanks again!

View was great, staff were unpleasant and unhelpful with the exception of housekeeping, which was great, room was clean, breakfast was good, bed was uncomfortable and pillows were flat. Stayed in the LaMer guesthouse. Arrived earlier than check-in, stored our bags, went to lunch. Was told to text to see if room was ready, we did but got no response. Came back, waited in line, asked if room was ready, was told no. As we were walking out of registration building, received a text that room was ready, literally about 30 seconds after we were told no. Had to get back in line and wait again. Booked the views and wine package but never received our bottle of wine. Called front desk to inquire but no one picked up. Tried calling the next morning and again, no one answered, rings about 6 times then automatically disconnected. Gave up, so never received our bottle of wine that we paid for. The power went out the day we arrived and husband walked to registration building to find out what was going on- two people sitting didn’t even acknowledge him and the person he spoke with showed him a screenshot on their phone that the power was out. Many others were inquiring- would have been a lot nicer if maybe something was posted on their door or even better if we received a text message- we received multiple text messages during our stay about yoga, trivia, dj at the pool, etc.- so a text message acknowledging power outage isn’t an unreasonable ask. We didn’t ever get into a pool because the water was very cloudy each day, even first thing in the morning. Shouldn’t be that difficult to clear a pool with it closing by 7pm. Looked for pool/beach towels at the beach, didn’t see them, asked a staff member who just looked at me like I had 3 heads. Had to ask another person who was staying at the resort, and the pool closest to the beach was also out of towels- this was 9:30 am - had to walk to the pool across the street to find clean towels. I did reach out to hotel about concerns before posting this review, I received a canned apology that may or may not have been AI generated. With all of the options in Key West and the great service we have received at other local properties, I can’t really see myself returning to this one.

My daughter and I have been here since Sunday and our stay could not be more comfortable and lovely! All of the staff, and specifically Latoya, Annette, and Marilyn are friendly, helpful, and welcoming and we love how they have texted us multiple times already to share info about music and events happening at the various pools, and yoga and other health and wellness opportunities. The people, walkability to amazing restaurants, pools and the beach access make this the best place to stay in Key West.

What a wonderful facility and the staff are amazing. 3 Pools and next to the beach. What more do you need. Right by Dvual Street, where all the action takes place.

My room was left open by housekeeping not just unlocked but door ajar all day, to make matters worse black mold issues were discovered in my room. I also want to add the resort has many people on campus who are not staying there and there is no policing this, which made my security concerns even more valid. The staff could not have been nicer but my multiple requests to hear from management were never met, multiple messages and never any outreach which leads me to leaving this review. Further staff at the hotel told me not to expect a response or accommodation from management. Safety and health of its guests are not at all prioritized by the management and leadership at this resort

Our room was very nice and the staff was very nice. The staff did a great job of giving us information and communicating with us via text. Two things about Key West...lodging isn't cheap and the beaches aren't great. That applies here as well...this was probably the most expensive room I've ever paid for, but any of the cheaper options we looked at were a bit sketchy. They do have 3 very nice pools and access to a private sand area that overlooks the ocean. The beach access is a public beach and its very small. This resort is a lot bigger than I thought it was. It is quite spread out on the map. The room was clean for the most part (found a hair in sink and on my pillow). I would definitely spring for the parking since parking is a bit scarce in Key West.
