I especially like that the hotel is not “all inclusive”. I prefer to not be locked into the hotel’s restaurants. Excellent resort right on the beach with 2 nice pools and good open water swimming area. This hotel also has an excellent gym that seemed to be well used by the guests. Because the hotel is non inclusive, I think the hotel attracts a an excellent group of more intelligent and more health conscious guests than the average Cancun hotel, and I have stayed in at least a dozen. The Presidente Interchange is the best!

I some road noise in the rooms facing south, but I had ear plugs, so it was not a problem for me.
