My items were stuck in the safe, the hotel was outdated and needs to be remodeled, my refrigerator didn't work, and the telephone was unplugged
Rooms are large and air conditioning is great. The location is perfect for dog owners; there is a park next door. Also, being 3 blocks from Canal Street, the hotel is quiet from the festival noise, but still close enough to walk to the main events.

From the exterior, it looks not well maintained, mostly from the window sun tinting that is peeling off. From my understanding, they are in the process of updating the issues.

It’s an older hotel so some things are outdated, for instance, the lamps beside don’t have the updated charger post, but that’s not a big deal. The shower didn’t work properly, like the hot water didn’t get hot, but we didn’t report it to the front desk. Oh, their policy also doesn’t allow late checkouts on Sundays or weekends, period. I didn’t know that. The smell when you walk in smells old and it’s very humid in the lobby. However, the room didn’t smell and the air conditioning worked great in the room.
I was told I could leave my vehicle in front of the hotel for an additional 1 1/2 hours after I checked out. When I returned within that time period, only to find a hefty parking ticket on my windshield.
