The location was great, next to the Auckland docks. The room was spacious and decorated with great taste and attention to detail, very comfortable both the bed and the armchairs in the seating area

If I had to mention a downside, the heating, for winter, was not working very well, and it took us a day to set it to the right temperature

The bed was too small and the pillow was not good. Very noisy with doors banging all night and very noisy outside. We wouldn't stay again as it was too noisy for us, which is a shame because we really liked the hotel

We have stayed before and noticed that the staff at check-in were not very welcoming, no conversation, just a standard 'here is your key'. Not very personable
