The location was fabulous & there it stops. The furnishings had the potential to be wonderful, but the bedroom was poorly designed.

The limit on the bath products - seriously! Only 1 coffee per person - stingy! The migrant staff were so few & doing the jobs of at least 5 people. Management, this is a disgrace & an insult to the heritage of the property. We couldn’t even get through to get room service! Only two towels! The room didn’t had a room service menu & the one on the TV was incorrect. No bathrobes, even though there were supposed to be. (suspect once again the staff are being run ragged. Couldn’t get access to the Chromecast because after multiple requests we weren’t told the pin code! We booked the hot tub & our escort was late…..Annoying! One of the staff has dandruff all over his collar! Is that sufficient negative feedback to make changes? I suspect not - in fact it was clear the management couldn’t give a fuck!

The location was perfect, near restaurants, the sky tower, the cruise terminal, great shopping, the Aukland art museum, the theater district and even a great grocery store .

We did not like that our room had no windows - only fake ones.

The TV a little hard to drive - I needed help ( a known problem therefore maybe some better instructions in the room would be useful) The room service meal was delicious, just a little cold and pricing on the high side for what it was.
