Hotel photos do not match reality. Reception in the basement and very untidy: shirts hanging on hangers, paper and folders everywhere. No large mirror in the room. Upon arrival, a dirty pillowcase hung on the lamp and a spoon that had fallen next to the bed was not cleaned up. The shower was in the bathtub, which was very difficult to get into. The TV/remote control did not work the whole time and was not fixed upon request. The air conditioning was inefficient, did not cool the room. Wifi did not work on my phone. Breakfast was scarce: cold scrambled eggs and bacon ran out on several mornings. Not recommended!
It was close to the station (once our internet connection worked and we could find where to go) and an easy walk to Mirabelplatz, where we met the tour to Eagle's Nest. If you stay in Salzburg, you get a pass for free public transport, which made accessing the Altstadt easier, especially as the bus stop was right at the door!

Only a small detail, but the pillows could be firmer. Some more coffee and milk sachets would also be welcome.
