The room I got had a patio sliding door that was not quite sealed. The rubber seal on the left side - the fixed side was coming off and the strong winds were blowing inside making me a bit uncomfortable. Also, the faucet handles in the bathroom were so tight to turn on and off.

Late checkout policy: I was told upon check-in that if I wanted to checkout later, I must call the morning of departure. They could have made an effort to accommodate my request by indicating on their system that I made such a request. By the morning of my departure, I was told that the room was already assigned to another customer. My flight departs 10 p.m. I cannot check in to my flight until 6 p.m. and there is nothing at the HNL airport to do.
