Boa localização, a cerca de 400 m da estação Spadina da linha 1 do metrô de Toronto. Bonito estilo do prédio, com decoração interna clássica, escadaria e móveis em madeira, tapetes orientais, e quadros nas paredes dos corredores/halls. Existência do Madison Avenue Pub, vinculado ao hotel, que oferece o conforto próximo de bar e restaurante, com diferentes ambientes (mesas, balcão com bancos altos, jogo de bilhar) com música ambiental e boa frequência.

The place is very characteristic, a historic mansion with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The furniture is old style, but we loved the experience of sleeping in a more traditional location. Good position to reach downtown walking. The staff is very friendly and helpful and we could leave our luggage at the reception for the whole day while we were waiting for our flight in the evening.

The place could be freshened up a bit, especially the communal areas. The carpet in the room was old and a bit ruined, however the place is overall clean. There is a crowded student pub next to the hotel so it can get a bit loud outside, however our room was facing the back so it was quiet enough for a good sleep. The room has no blackout curtains so it can get really bright in the morning.

We stayed in two different rooms. The second one was better. It is an older facility but the price is good for its excellent location.

Charming space and very friendly staff. Pretty clean for the most part. Very close to ROM. Pub next door is convenient.

Not a deal breaker for me but maybe for others.. it is basically on fraternity and sorority row since you are in a college town. Also, the Manor is pretty and clearly a time capsule but could use a small update. definitely an old building and bed was not the most comfortable because it is also pretty old.
