Our arrival got off to a rough start. We were traveling from a colder climate so in addition to our carry on luggage, we had large coats and sweaters. Our rooms weren't ready (we arrived around noon and the rooms would not be ready until 3:00pm), so we went to lunch. The staff told us we had to CARRY everything around other than our checked luggage! Also, the decor was dated....the bedroom still had a carpeted floor which had a couple of stains. The staff cleaned daily but the mops weren't changed which led to constant hair on the bathroom floor (gross). Lastly, we had an issue with knats in the room. Maintenance addressed the issue as soon as we reported it.
We were here for Christmas 2025. LOCATION Honeymoon Suite, East Side, (quieter side) Room 611, on the 6th floor. Beautifully renovated. The AC works perfectly. Very clean area. GYM The gym is on the 7th floor, accessible by stairs. The gym is very nicely designed and very clean. ROOM 116, EAST SIDE The water has good pressure. Sometimes it takes longer for the desired temperature to come. It's normal. It has an ironing board and a safe. Very spacious room. With a beautiful balcony. Top view of the private island and the pretty church and the turquoise sea. BED very comfortable large bed. If it's too cold at night, you can ask for a warmer blanket. FOOD The fresh breakfast was excellent. Very diverse and good quality. In the restaurant "La Plum" you need a reservation. Otherwise, you can enjoy breakfast without a reservation at various restaurants. The butlers will reserve the restaurants for you for breakfast or dinner. Don't worry. Breakfast in bed/on the balcony was delicious. BUTLER Our butlers, Derron and Cece, were wonderful. We received a phone where we could reach our 2 butlers until 10 pm. (Ask how the phone charging works). BEACH The butlers reserved 2 beach chairs for us daily. Guests with a butler have a blue cooler box with the desired drinks in the box. At the beach, you can also order drinks from the beach staff from morning till afternoon. When looking from the sea to the hotel, the right side gets more sun. TRANSFER We were picked up and dropped off at the airport with the Rolls-Royce. Very good drivers. A special service on a comfortable mattress is possible for an additional 150 USD. Ask for it if desired. A reservation of a beach chair on the private island is not possible. "First come, first served."

The beds seemed too soft and the pillows had no support. The sheets felt cheap. We were on our honeymoon and mentioned it on our reservation and on the celebration card when we arrived (along with my husband's birthday) we did not receive anything from the honeymoon package (rose petals, champagne in the room).
