The location is great, really peaceful but only a 20 min walk into the town or there are regular buses (the hotel gave us a free bus pass). We didn't have a car here and it wasn't a problem at all. There was a big fridge and oven and we saved a lot of money by being able to prepare our own food. There are also hikes you can do from this side of town like to the Hoodoos which were so quiet in comparison to the popular tourist sites. I would recommend and would stay here again.

The pool and gym are quite small which didn't bother us but just something to be aware of.

Our room was very spacious, the kitchen equipment was very good. Also, the bathroom was very well proportioned for two people. Since we spent four nights there, the opportunity to do laundry was perfect! The provided free bus tickets proved to be very practical, as Banff was mercilessly overcrowded in August and the search for a parking space in town was hopeless.

The 'large double bed' described in the booking was unfortunately just a normal queen-size bed. Unfortunately too narrow for our needs, so we didn't sleep well.
