The Hotel Ísland in Reykjavík is well located, most attractions are within walking distance. There are plenty of free parking spaces directly across the street from the hotel. The staff was very friendly. Our room was quiet and clean. The beds were very comfortable. At the reception, you can spontaneously book breakfast in the morning. The payment went smoothly. The breakfast buffet was very diverse and rich. It's almost like a brunch, as it included not only bread, rolls, etc., but also hot dishes (e.g. soups). There are also sufficient options for vegetarians, vegans, and allergy sufferers, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, fruit juices; bean soup without meat, milk, and lactose.
