The food was terrible in the garden place. The steak sandwich gave me an upset stomach and on a separate occasion, the mushroom soup was too salty. So salty, in fact, that my blood pressure spiked. I did inform the person serving, but he didn't take any action. I believe I shouldn't have paid for it! I became ill due to the high salt content. The toilet didn't flush properly...took a few attempts! And I didn't like the big dirty flies in the garden food area.
The bed in the room was too small. I should have booked the larger bed.
It was close to the railway station, which we used every day. The Garden Bar was great value with reasonably priced food and drinks. The food was good pub food. The staff was friendly.

Not so much a negative, but the room was a little small for someone 6'5"...lol. and a little warm. But that's all, really.
