A great place to stay if you're going to Edinburgh, particularly for Fringe. 24/7 reception, great breakfast options and simple amenities but clean. Room comes with a sink which was great for brushing teeth and washing my face without having to always use the shared bathroom. Shared facilities were clean and easy to access.

Great location and affordable. On the other hand, the check-in and check-out process was terrible with massive lines out the door for hours waiting. Depending on where you are on the property, it can also be quite loud at night from people walking through the halls.

Second year staying here. Different building and the private bathroom was a real treat this year. I love this place. The breakfast is outstanding. Walking distance to town and trails by Arthur's Seat. Convenient buses. Excellent laundry facility available.
