During our stay, the room was tidied up rather superficially.
Beautiful view, great breakfast and dinner, well-equipped room and friendly staff. Nothing else is needed. I would especially highlight the hotel's garden, which is truly amazing

The room furnishings are a bit outdated, the tiles are worn out, the bathroom is worn out. But this did not detract from our experience at all.
Superb hotel, very relaxing, very well located, very clean and with a magnificent view. The breakfast is excellent and the restaurant divine with a very good value for money. Special mention to all the staff who are extremely kind and do everything to satisfy you. The pool is fantastic with an extraordinary view. We will happily stay at Quinta Funchal Gardens again on our next stay in Madeira.

The rooms could use some refreshing (carpet) but honestly, this did not in any way diminish our stay because the room is clean, (cleaned every day), spacious and the bedding excellent. In short, all positive!
