First room did not had AC working and we had to move to another room on the second day. However, you had already slept one night with no AC which was uncomfortable. First room was extremely small, and to give an idea, in order to seat on the toilet, you had to seat on the side, because there was no room um the front for your legs.

We booked a club double room, rather than a double as on the booking.com website it said a double could be on the lower ground floor and the club rooms are on the ground floor. They also stated they are soundproofed. Our room was shockingly bad. It was on the lower ground floor, so not as stated at all. It was also not soundproofed and we could not only hear everything inside and out, but also people moving furniture in the room above as well as the underground. The carpet as you entered had clearly had as large section replaced, however it had not been done properly, was not secured and had a gap between that part and the rest, creating a trip hazard. The curtains were not properly secured so were very difficult to pull and didn't cover the entire window leaving gaps, the net curtains behind were also very long and laying on the carpet. The room was clearly a single room with a double bed put in as it had a single headboard and plug and lights behind the bed. The reading light above the bed would not switch off so had to direct it at the wall, however in the morning it switched off. There was also a spot light above the bed half in it's socket. The shower cubicle door did not close so all the water from the shower went all over the bathroom floor. The shower gel container was broken and full of black grime and the shower head wasn't working and kept falling down. The room was not properly stocked, there was no hand towel, just 2 bath towels, 2 pairs of slippers but just 1 dressing gown and part of the package was wine and fruit, however no wine glasses were provided. The mattress was comfortable but had no duvet, it was more like a thick sheet and was chilly in the night. The aircon unit couldn't be adjusted, it was just on or off and there was a huge gap underneath the door which not only allowed light into the room but is a fire risk. Complained on site but staff dismissive and uninterested and said they couldn't do anything. Very Very Poor.
