I would add some colors to the entrance and corridors, it seems a bit monotonous yet Florence is a lively city
The hotel has a good bed, mattress, and pillows for a good sleep. The shower is large and very comfortable. The breakfast is of quality suitable for 4 stars. Friendly and attentive staff. Very close to Santa Novella station and you can walk to the center.

The area around the hotel at night is a bit run-down. It's a bit scary to go to the hotel.

It doesn't usually bother me, I tolerate noise well. But for someone a bit more sensitive, hearing the trains can be a negative thing. It is barely audible. But something can be heard.
