Slightly outdated decor
The tall man working in the weekend breakfast restaurant was really attentive to all guests and has obviously been trained in customer engagement, he smiled all the time and asked if people needed anything else. Its a guess but I would say he received training elsewhere because I cant say the same for the weekday restaurant staff, in fact it they were the opposite, no smiling, no eye contact, removing plates without asking, and on the Friday, with their manager shouting across the restaurant, they start removing food from the servery at 9:35, they don't seem to have had the same training. I have experience working in hotels, you should promote the tall guy, he could then deliver the training.
