Excellent place to stay, walking distance to historic downtown area. Quaint Room at this historical building was very clean and our check-in was very efficient and friendly. Nice property with parking safely gated for protection. Would definetly stay here again.

Great for key west although only difficult to find

We had a fantastic stay at the Weatherstation Inn. The location is incredible - walking distance (we love to walk!) to literally everything we wanted to do. The room was clean and quiet. Our room was quiet even though it was near the door and the breakfast setup - and I'm a picky sleeper. The property is small enough and attracts a nice clientel so noise really wasn't a problem at all. The breakfast is great - individually wrapped fresh pastries, protein bars, Chobani yogurt, peanut butter, instant oatmeal, fruit. The small pool is quiet and nice for a quick dip. You have access to the Opal Key Resort if you want a bigger pool (we didn't end up doing this because we ran out of time, but we did stop by that property and it was nice). One thing to note - if you are checking in outside of 3pm - 5pm then you check in at Opal Key (it is very close by). We were there at 3:00 so this didn't apply to us. I would absolutely stay there again. It is charming, clean, and quiet.

Second stay at the Weather Station Inn. The staff are swesome and the croissants in the morning are delicious. The bed was comfy. The Inn is close to Duval and great restaurants. Love the access to Opal Key Resort.

Room was clean and bed comfortable. It was a gated community and after 6 it was a longer walk back to a gate that accepted our key.
