Overall a good experience despite some minor issues.
I wrote a review recently, after staying at the hotel for a whole week, now just for one night. It was fine staying at the hotel, which is centrally located in Montreal. Had breakfast at the hotel only a couple of times, but it was good and the Asian-origin waiter was very service-oriented.

The hotel gives an old 90s impression, if not older, including wall-to-wall carpets, which feel completely outdated today. High price range in relation to the standard.
Cleanliness, staff attitude, and environment

Staff encountered in the elevator and hallway should be smiling and friendly, at least say hi hello
Missing breakfast included at least continental
The hotel looks a little dated on entry, but apart from that my stay was wonderful. The room was huge and very comfortable.

It was surprising that Hilton Garden Inn does not provide slippers for its customers, considering the room rent that I paid. Also, an extra CAD 266.68 has been deducted from my card, two days after I checked out. This extra payment has not yet been refunded.
