We had to ask for a different room because the first assigned one was smelling like mold. They had a typhoon in Shanghai and most probably because of this. However, i would have appreciated if they put us from the beginning in a cleand and unsmelly room. The deposit we paid at check in was something not transparent on booking, but they released it back in my account within 24 hours. This is a nice experience compared to other hotels in China where I am waitibg for my deposits back since 5 weeks.
