I expected the pool to be bigger

The staff was really nice, friendly, and helpful. The pool area is nice (although the pool now has the mandatory safety railing around it). The restaurant is also very nice with good service and food. The beach on the other side of the hotel is huge and clean, although the water is less. Overall a very good hotel for its official rating.

The doors to the floors were not well sound isolated and since it is Malaga, people tend to come in late at night. The hotel was more expensive than our (better) hotels in other cities.
The beds were very comfortable, the sofa bed, on the other hand, unfortunately very uncomfortable and creaked with every movement. Everything else in the room was very good, all clean. The breakfast was excellent, a large selection. There is a network fence around the pool, which spoils the impression of an otherwise very pleasant hotel garden.
