Super well located, with subway, pharmacy, markets, bus, tourist spot, everything very close and easy to reach. In the room, there are outlets near the bed, magnifying mirror, small table with chair, a nice little terrace to stay and it's been modernizing a bit every year, without carpet or elaborate wallpaper. Good lighting, and there's a reading lamp near the bed. The bathroom itself is small, could have more shelves, but the shower is very good and the box space is also good. Simple but very nice and cheap breakfast. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I can only thank and praise everything. It's the third time I stay at Avenir and I will certainly stay there again.

Improve the wardrobe a bit to better accommodate clothes and add shelves in the bathroom. It's a pity there's no minibar in the room, I think it's time to provide one!!

The hotel is hard to spot, it is inside a gate that looked like a house's, as soon as you enter, you smell a strange musty odor, as soon as we entered the room, we took a shower and the towels smelled as if they hadn't been washed (even though they changed them every day they smelled), also there were hairs stuck in the shower head, microscopic bathroom, not even one person fits in. The room was also small, we had to remove the top blanket because it was full of hairs, we immediately noticed earplugs on the bedside table so we imagined we would hear a lot of noise all night: and so it was, I fell asleep after midnight hearing a continuous coming and going of people in the hotel, noises from the street and people shouting even at night. Also, the location is only convenient because of the metro, for the rest it is not a nice area at all, especially the people, for two nights we didn't go out because we were afraid, after all we were 5 minutes away from one of the ugliest areas of Paris where it is not recommended to walk alone.

The location is nice (very close to Anvers metro station and the stairs to Sacre Coeur), albeit slightly noisy, as it is right on the boulevard. The beds and pillows smelled fresh and were very comfortable, the bathroom was fine. Multiple electric sockets around the room, which is always a plus. No issues and no additional charge for leaving our luggage for a few hours on the day of departure.

The location is nice (very close to Anvers metro station and the stairs to Sacre Coeur), albeit slightly noisy, as it is right on the boulevard. The beds and pillows smelled fresh and were very comfortable, the bathroom was fine. Multiple electric sockets around the room, which is always a plus. No issues and no additional charge for leaving our luggage for a few hours on the day of departure.

Unlike the sheets and pillowcases which smelled fresh, the towels smelled awful. I wouldn't say they were not clean, but they had a mould-like smell, even after they were changed, so it was very difficult to use them, as the smells stayed on you after use. The quadruple room was quite small for a family of 4 and there were virtually no shelves/wardrobe space to take out our clothes, as almost all the shelving was taken by some additional pillows and blankets. The wifi was quite poor. I did not appreciate being given a room on the 1st floor, as it was very noisy and close to the boulevard, and would have liked a room on an upper floor, but I guess that is a personal preference.
