Helpful staff, great bed and bedding, lovely shower. Handy free local bus for Salzburg centre. Also train station 15 mins walk away. Excellent restaurant S'Winterteller a few minutes' walk away. Free tea and coffee in lobby between 12.00 and 20.00.

If you want to take advantage of Salzburg nightlife you might want to stay nearer the centre.

The cleanliness of the room was disappointing. The toilet and shower had clearly not been cleaned at all. There was dust on all the furniture and surfaces in the room. The only thing that seemed to have been taken care of was making the bed. Overall, the room did not meet basic cleanliness standards.

Unfortunately, we only found out by chance on the second day that public transport was included in the hotel price. We still bought tickets on the first day. It would be nice if the staff could mention it directly at check-in.
In general all was good, the AC was soooo good, room was clean. Reception is great as well, they explained and helped us throughout.

Parking is there and free yes, but sometimes when coming back after 5pm, there is no parking, which can be challenging. Also, we came a bit early, rooms weren't ready, so we said we will scroll around the city, we purchased a one day pass for transport, then when we checked in, they informed us that the hotel provides one for each guest, I think if this was informed prior, it would have been better. Also, the reception when there is one person only and you need help, there can be a queue. We faced this once where the queue was to the outside of the hotel, when we just needed our transportation cards, we waited almost 30 minutes. The bus station is near, but the frequency of stops can take time and if you will come back from the center late at night, better plan in advance, the bus rotation to the hotel station is not as frequent and takes loads of time.
